Here’s a video I put together today using clips filmed over the past couple weeks with my Canon sd780 compact camera.
In one of the clips you can see my wide angle lens when it literally sunk into an ice rink in Montréal. It was a job getting it out.
I don’t know how to upgrade this old version of wordpress because I’m an idiot with this sort of thing, so you’ll have to watch the video on vimeo or facebook. Sorree.
Interestingly enough, Andy Chung earlier today released a video of similar concept that was also filmed using the same camera. Not only that, but he filmed some of his bike clips at the same time as I was filming mine, we were just in different parts of the city. Neither of us knew we were gonna make these videos until after they were uploaded. Bizarre. nh.

Was recently interviewed by Kurt Hohberger for bmx website DigBMX.com, its available for viewerage here.
Many thanks for the response on the 3Style series! Madly appreciated. =]

Went shooting with Travis Sexsmith last week and he banged out a big oppo wallride in UBC. You can see it bigger here. Congrats Travis for officially getting on the Macneil pro team!! Been killing it for so long. In case you haven’t seen it yet, his latest video part filmed and produced by John Thompson is a must watch.

Went on a shoot with Vancouver’s Andy Roode and Sam Lowe. Pictures after the jump.

Formula 1’s 800th race -the first ever held at night- was a spectacle of 1,600 track-lined lamps, a parade of (what looked like) 160,000 clubsnap photographers and temperatures that reached (what felt like) 1,600°C. A fantastic experience and an absolutely incredible race. Very surreal to sit on the steps of City Hall and munch on Oreos as F1 cars sped past at 300km/h.
Took pictures of Friday’s practice session from the Red Bull paddocks- hit the jump for the photojournal!

A gigantic crowd watching really fast cars in the middle of a concrete jungle- a lovely way to spend a Sunday evening. Here are the race pictures from Singapore’s inaugural Formula 1 night race.
